Role: Romantic Interest/Comic Relief

Here's one of the many new characters we'll see in Junior Force: Exodus, once I get some work done on it. Liz Morales is the anime-loving, video-gaming hyper-energetic sort that always seems to be going about a mile a minute, just pausing long enough to catch her breath. She's every geek's dream girl- not only is she smart and cute, but she cosplays at conventions, has an obscenely huge collection of anime, collects swords, and is more than capable of handing out healthy portions of videogame ass-whupping. If there's anything to her detriment is the fact that she drives like a one-eyed old man, but hey, nobody's perfect.

Liz's inspiration came from a composite of people I've met over the years, mainly at conventions like Anime Weekend Atlanta. Basically, I took some of the charming qualities from young ladies I've come across at the conventions/message boards, and I've thrown out a LOT of the excess baggage... while Liz does have her share of issues, she doesn't quite take it to the extreme of some of the people I've come across. She's achieved that perfect balance between geekdom and sanity; this makes her a pretty hot commodity among some of guys in the world of Junior Force.

While I am still trying to finalize the character base for Exodus, it is known that she'll be playing the eventual love interest of one of our heroes. Of course you can expect some love triangle elements to pop up, especially since our good friend Dweeb is a pretty major character in our tale, and has a bit of a thing for Ms. Morales. Ah, high school life... always so beautifully complicated.

The Future: I've grown quite attached to Ms. Morales, so I'm sure she'll be around for quite some time. Aside from the fact that she's so much fun to draw, she just brings in that comedic element that I often use in my works. I wouldn't worry too much about her, for I'm sure that we'll see her again soon.
