Before I can explain who this lovely young lady is, I have to explain what exactly is Rahn D'um...

A while back, I was in a bit of a funk; writer's block, if you will. I concocted a little project to get my mojo flowing again, that being a computer program that would randomly generate fantasy-styled characters (contrary to popular belief, I DID learn something from all of those Comp Sci classes). My task would be to select a few of the characters, and write a story around them.

Raine here made the cut.

Raine Alandros is a young woman of Setian descent (derived from Kyber-Set, the Rahn D'um equivalent of Africa) that has found herself recruited into the ranks of The Edges, an elite order of peace keepers active throughout the realm. Her recruiting, actually, was a direct result of her trying to rob one Brocktolli Sardryn, a Dark Elf that was, unbeknownst to Raine, an Edge Keeper. That's a pretty punishable offense in Rahn D'um, but Brock was quite impressed with the young woman's skills, and after a lot of fighting, swearing, and general resistance, Raine eventually found herself in their ranks.

Not only is Raine capable of stealing stink from an orc, but she is also the consummate entertainer. She sings, she dances, and plays several instruments. In her youth she learned that there are several ways to distract someone in order to get at their purse strings.

Fast forward to the current story arc, which I imagine will be in The Library soon enough. Raine is part of a trio of Edge Keepers assigned to escort a High Elf scholar back home to her native Darkpool. Amelia, the young lady they are protecting, is the daughter of another well-known scholar that is pioneering new steam-based technologies, which everyone seems to want to get their hands on. The trio of Edge Keepers assigned to the mission are Raine, along with an impulsive-but-likeable fireball-tossing Wood Elf named Kado Ludrigar, and the ranger-extraordinaire that recruited her, Brock Sardryn.

The Future: Raine plays a pretty big role in the story, and I'm sure she and her associates will be around for a while. I've begun planning for another story for when I finish this 3-4 chapter intro arc. Also, I've been kicking around the idea of doing a Girls of Club Ninja swimsuit pictorial for a while now, and if it happens, I'm sure that Raine will make the cut yet again.
