In Prep For College...

- College is the great social equalizer. No matter where you were in high school, everyone starts off at the bottom. Make the most of this

- No matter how great the team was, get rid of your high school hats, shirts, and jackets. You're in a new world now, and no one here gives a crap.

- The buyback value on books is horrendous. The sooner you accept this, the better off you'll be.

- Be careful of the word 'Free', especially if it involves signing something.

- Sometimes, 'Free' really does mean free. Enjoy the bounty.

- Just because you skated through high school doesn't mean that you can do the same in college. Community College maybe.

- No two people will be exactly the same. There's beauty in that.

- Smart-assing a teacher might have gotten you popularity points back in high school, but it just makes you look like a moron now. An annoying moron at that.

- Some professors insist that you call them by their first name. I still have not gotten used to this.
