Description: Natalie's most noticeable features are her bright
blue eyes, and long black hair (odd, because most people born in her village
back home were green eyed and red haired, a side effect from the presence
of the Fire Gem). She prides herself with her hair -she usually keeps it
back in a long ponytail that comes down to about her butt. Her body is
toned, a product of years of training with the sword, combined with a little
dabbling into the martial arts here and there. She is a petite young lady
of fair complexion.
Personality: Usually warm and friendly even to strangers, she IS
a child of fire- this simply means that she can (and will) switch moods
in a heartbeat. She is quick to anger, which has gotten her into trouble
on more than one occasion. When she isn't fighting, she likes to spend
time with her friends -since their home was destroyed, they're the only
family she truly has.
Correction- she DOES have a cousin, but old Danny's kinda a bore...
Abilities: Natalie is skilled at using her sword, a thin blade
she has nicknamed 'Fury' ('Feel my Fury!'- many an overcocky swordsman
have broken out laughing at her apparant overdramatics, only to look up
in time to catch a foot in the face). She can fight without her sword,
but really doesn't like to. Like everyone in her village, she has Fire
magic infused within her, but that was a talent she chose not to develop.
Inventory: She dons a light, leather chestguard underneath a red,
short sleeved blouse. She also wears a short dress (as not to hinder her
movement) and a pair of knee-high black boots. Her sword hangs at her side,
along with a pouch that has some gold, a few healing herbs, and a few other
odds and ends.
History: Natalie was the tomboy daughter of the Elders of the village
of Kari, back on Sukata. Not quite as civil as her two older sisters, she
spent most of her time hanging out with several of her friends in the village.
They were good kids, but that didn't stop them from getting into trouble
every once in a while. Often times, they would go out into the wilderness
surrounding the village with a few of the other kids, and just mess around
out there all day.
It was one such day when Kari was attacked by Grendel, one of Martosa's
warriors. Grendel and his troopers marched into Kari, destroying and killing
their way to the Fire Gem, within a shrine in the center of town. Once
obtained, the Gem was used against the very village that protected it-
when Natalie and her friends returned, they found it burned to the ground,
their homes destroyed, their families gone.
Some time later, a team of Dragoons arrived at the ruins of Kari,
gathering the survivors and taking them to safety within Sukata's capitol.
It was about that time when the Sukatans were begining their exodus to
Haven, and so Natalie and the other survivors were allowed to journey to
this new world with the others.
About two years have passed since then.
